Meet Dr. Sarah Jabbour
PhD Licensed Psychologist
Supporting a Range of Life Experiences
I have been practicing therapy for over 25 years, having worked in a range of settings, including university, military, and private practice.
I have worked with diverse clients, including adolescents, college students, individuals struggling with addiction, and adults dealing with a variety of psychological issues.

“Sarah was excellent at compassionately holding space for me to explore the most vulnerable parts of myself.
I felt she always led with her heart, her intellect providing support, which really helped me be more heart centred. During three years of interacting, I never felt judged and came to feel that I could share anything with Sarah and it would be met with curiosity about my experience and helpful questions. She helped me integrate masculine parts I’d rejected and encouraged me to bring the most energized version of myself to the world.”

About My Journey
My path to becoming a psychologist has been guided by a deep desire to understand the human experience and a heartfelt commitment to supporting others through life’s challenges. After stepping away from my practice to raise my children, I returned with a renewed sense of purpose and a more profound appreciation for the complexities of the inner world.
My personal journey through midlife transition and spiritual exploration opened the door to the transformative potential of awakening and mindfulness. These experiences have inspired me to weave these principles into my therapeutic work, offering a holistic approach that honours the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Therapeutic Approach
I work from a mindful and trauma-informed perspective, integrating approaches that support deep, lasting healing.
My practice is informed by

Multicultural Awareness and Inclusion
My training placed a strong emphasis on multicultural awareness, and I continue to bring sensitivity to each client’s unique cultural, racial, and gender identity. As a white, cisgender woman, I remain mindful of how my own background shows up in the therapy space, and I strive to create an environment where all clients feel seen, safe, and respected.

Rooted in Safety
My main priority is establishing and cultivating trust and safety with clients so they may traverse and discover their own healing capacities within.
