How to Begin Therapy With Me

Regardless of what kind of therapy you’re looking for, the first step I invite you to take is booking a free 20-minute consultation call. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. From there, you can begin booking sessions as needed.

FAQ

  • Individual adult and adolescent therapy sessions are $200 for 50 minutes. Couples sessions and teen-with-parent sessions are $250 for 90 minutes.

  • I’m licensed to provide therapy in California, Georgia, and Tennessee. You must be physically located in one of these states at the time of your sessions in order for us to work together.

  • I’m a private pay therapist, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, if your insurance plan includes out-of-network coverage, I’m happy to provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement. I also offer a limited number of sliding scale slots—feel free to reach out if cost is a concern.

  • All payments are processed securely through Ivy, a platform designed specifically for therapists. You’ll receive a link to complete payment when you book your session. Ivy accepts all major credit and bank cards.

  • In the beginning, I usually recommend meeting weekly if possible. This helps us build a strong foundation and keeps the momentum going as we start working together. Over time, we can adjust the frequency based on your needs.

  • All sessions are currently held virtually. You can join from the comfort of your own space using a secure video platform.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so I can offer the time to someone else. Otherwise, the full session fee will still apply.
